Where do i get all my knowlegde from?

Sometimes I am asked where I get all my knowledge from. You can eg. read more about me at my profile. This profile most of all tell you exactly who I am and my experience as an Road Bike Rider.

I do not have a master's degree in physiology and nutrition of some kind. It is learning by doing. However, I have been advised by competent people through time, for example Hans Henrik Orsted who was World Champion on the track, and former coach Jorgen Markussen which I have been colleague with as sports director at Team Concordia.

Back in the days as an elite cyclist I found out that it was hard to get advice on the whole subject bike training nomatter if I wanted to know more about strength training, tactics, season planning or anything elset. The so-called "experts" in physiology or other elite riders advised to their best ability but I think I never got a full understanding until after many years of training and may wrong training paterns. What is optimal in a test lab is not necessarily optimal in daily life and certainly not if there is fulltime work and family might be accommodated. Therefore I decided to make this website!

I do not always blindly trust the test results, I also use my common sense and years of experience. Additionally I have a large network through which I provide me access to test results and other knowledge and is generally more than ordinary aware of what is happening in these areas. The human beings find out something new all the time and I want to know everything new that is on its way. Read my training philosophy.

Now I am also very experienced in creating training programs for both young and old enthusiastic bike riders. In this way I learn a little each time. Not two riders are alike, it is both physical as well on mental differences, but also lifestyle and assumptions that come into play when I have to refine a training program.
